Bushcraft is a long-term extension of survival skills. It is a popular term for wilderness skills in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The term was popularised in the northern hemisphere by Mors Kochanski and recently gained considerable recognition in the United Kingdom due to the popularity of Ray Mears and his bushcraft and survival television programs.

FIRE: Fire is one of the most fun skills of bushcraft. There are lots of ways to make it. Probubly the easiest way is simply striking a match, but there are much harder ways to make a flame like using a bowdrill or a fire plow.
